Public comments and ideas, from the first meeting on Sept. 28, and from the Dec. 7 in-person meeting and online feedback, will be incorporated into the Master Plan.

The Bloomington/Monroe County Human Rights Commission (BMCHRC) is seeking nominations for the 2024 Human Rights Award, recognizing an individual or group that has made specific, significant contributions to improving civil rights, human relations, or civility in our community.

Senior living management company CarDon & Associates is proud to announce an $8.6 million expansion of its Westfield community, Copper Trace, located on the northeast corner of 146th Street and Ditch Road at 1250 West 146th Street.
The complex opened in 2015 with 36 assisted living apartments as well as four neighborhoods, each with 26 skilled nursing suites. The first phase of the complex cost $19 million, with a 116,000-square-foot building on approximately 16 acres. Planning for the addition began in July of 2022 with construction starting in late September of 2023. Architectural and interior design firm Studio Three Design developed the look of the expansion while long-running renovation company Summit Construction is overseeing the building process. |
