Inflation Reduction Act and REAP Grant can provide rural and agriculture production businesses funding for up to 90% of Solar Panel Installation costs. MPI Solar Energy prepares the Grant Application and can consult with your accountant on tax credits and bonus depreciation. If you qualify REAP will pay 50% of the cost and The Inflation Reduction Act will pay 30%. The depreciation bonus will add 10%. Depending on your electric company you might also receive a credit from them. These programs can significantly reduce if not eliminate payback time on your investment. Most all businesses qualify for the Inflation Reduction Act 30% and the depreciation bonus. REAP requires the business must have 50% of gross income from direct production of agricultural products or be located in a rural area, as defined by the USDA. Rural areas generally include areas outside of cities and urban centers with populations of 50,000 or more. In April, the Jewish Theatre of Bloomington will present the staged reading of Another Antigone by A. R. Gurney. A.R. Gurney brilliantly parallels his play with the Greek tragedy Antigone by Sophocles, transposing the action from ancient Greece to a modern American university in the 1980s where the characters become Judy Miller, a brilliant, headstrong Jewish student and Henry Harper, an unyielding authoritarian professor of Greek Classics. A battle of wills ensues when Harper rejects her term paper, a play in which she takes it upon herself to rewrite Antigone in the context of the nuclear arms race. Judy's protest to the university grievance committee escalates into an examination of reports of low enrollment in Harper's courses and student reports of anti-Semitism that pose a threat to his career. Director, Martha Jacobs has assembled a remarkable cast including newcomer, Ryan Eller and three local actors, known to Bloomington theatregoers, Emily Davis, Steve Scott, and Gail Bray. Performance dates are April 11, 13, 18 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee on April 14 at 3:00 p.m. This staged reading will take place at the Endwright Center, Bloomington College Mall at 2894 E 3rd St. Tickets are $35 per person, available online at: www.jewishtheatrebloomington.com/tickets or at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater Box Office at 114 E Kirkwood Ave. Two talkbacks will be facilitated by Darrell Ann Stone.
