Congratulations to Steven Fortune and Jason Lanham, Edward Jones Financial Advisors on their new, beautiful location. The day of their opening was also Edward Jones’s 100th year so there was much to celebrate. At their branch, they are driven by an unshakeable commitment to building financial strategies with you at the center and a "do unto others" philosophy. Whether it's planning for retirement, saving for college for children or grandchildren, or just trying to protect the financial future of the ones that you care the most for, they take the time to identify each goal and develop a strategy to address it.

It took years of planning, construction, dedication, effort, and heart to make the new IU Health Bloomington happen. On Wednesday, May 4, IU Health South Central Region leaders, elected officials, Chamber representatives, Indiana University officials, and IU Health team members celebrated the years of hard work with a ribbon-cutting ceremony inaugurating the new hospital. While their move to the new facility on Sunday, Dec. 5, went without a hitch, a rise in COVID-19 numbers in the community kept teams from safely celebrating at the time.
On May 4th they celebrated this HUGE accomplishment and everyone who helps deliver on their promise to their patients every day! Congratulations, to LIFEDesigns on your new community garden sponsored by Tri-Kappa Bloomington. This grant was funded to help build a community garden for the neighborhood of Housing Options off Covey Ln. in Bloomington. Housing Options is a low-income housing neighborhood owned and operated by LIFEDesigns near the YMCA in Bloomington, IN. Area residents will be able to use the garden to work on their gardening skills and promote a sense of community.
